A stand-alone ultrasonic reversing aid designed specifically for articulated trailers and the associated demanding environment of the heavy articulated vehicle market. The main advantage is that no additional suzi connections to the cab are required, ensuring full compatibility with any tractor unit that connects to the trailer. BackMinder® offers two sensors for basic installations. The new ultra-wide beam reduces fitting time whilst ensuring coverage across the width of the rear of a vehicle up to the maximum 2.55 metres. The standard detection zones derived from extensive research are Green <3m (1O'), Amber < 1.8m (6'), and Red <0.9m (3’). It should be noted that these zones are customisable for specific applications or vehicle fleet requirements.

The advantages of being fully Trailer
independent
This meant that no connection to the tractor
unit is necessary. Therefore BackMinder® will operate regardless
of which tractor unit is utilised, with no additional equipment
required. In use this presents no additional problems to logistics
operations.
